Invisible Power

Invisible Power

Power of the written word ...........

Invisible Power

Ignored throughout

this pitch black foreboding ether of fallen humanity

Pulsating nano-veins

of truth flash like lightening across an ashen sky

Exposing repetitive

pus and scabs of generational deprivations

Every brief

illumination reveals humankind’s inequities of being

The Creator’s

initial conception purity now disgracefully marred

From silent

satanic seeds implanted within gullible mindsets

And just

as a broken mirror reflects fractured laterally reversed images

So to

the arrogant actions and attitudes of perpetrators are observed

In shattered

false patches of distorted unreal disturbing interpretations

Self-interest silhouette

despot shepherds guide this world’s blinkered bleeping populace

With mesmerizing

amulets of ambiguous media powered promises of greater times

Deceitfully disguising

their agendas to stave inclusion and the sharing of controlled concern

Whilst wading

through the toxic plasticity of our over saturated polluted oceans

Found awash

with the blood of innocent victims from constant global conflicts

The concept

of hope seems but an illusion on this troubled smog filled sphere

Giving up

was never an option to this optimistic steadfast searching soul

As there

is urgency to passionately fight for transformation opportunities

By raising

awareness of imperative issues through humble words of protest

Petitioning all

who listen and believe there is salvation for this damaged world

Sledge hammering

home a poetical message of encouraging international positivity

To break

and bind undermining subliminal absurdities ruining our existence

Incredibly well written, and this is certainly your passion in writing, as in your most recent poem the just anger is piercing throughout.
The disproportion between the line length of the embedded destructiveness and the attempts to bring a sledge hammer to them are perfectly showing how one voice alone against the automatic human selfishness or lack of thought is not sufficient, but this certainly speaks of hope.

Incredible! Well-done! Not even David Attenborough could have said it better!

right now, this world is imposingly dark.

skirmishes everywhere---abusing lecherous scoundrels...mass shootings ....we need some international positivity....or the world will be damaged beyond repair.

But the sun will come up tomorrow..
someone once upon a time said.
I'll not survive to see an ending
but maybe my children will.
There is power in words..
but which words.. will save.

Powerful/Hopeful/Truthful/Hard-hitting
