Final Straw

Final Straw

A Poem by Phill Oz O'fee
"

The last of a succession of irritations, incidents, remarks, etc., that leads to a loss of patience, a disaster, etc.

"

Final Straw

No more excuses

You’ve used up all your chances

Time for you to go

Women need to hear this very important poem, before it's too late for them...perfect , poignant Senryu. I was in this place once. So tired, so depleted, so beaten down time and time again. God gave me the strength to stand up and say "No More!".As your poem and image show, it's incredibly hard to do and abuse can happen to anyone, anywhere. Thank you for writing this most relevant and empowering poem.

This is so poignant. The brighter side is that she has spoken up. She has exercised her right. A simple and powerful senryu!

Period! It couldn't be any clearer. How many times have similar lines been spoken? In print, they make a big impact! For those folks fed up..leaving a cut out of this poem in sight, could help many break the ice.

Dear....I have said that severally before "Please leave me alone...". What I hate there is the word "Alone". I always feel lonely once i sent the Jerks away. I therefore found a way to make it better. i now say, "Please leave me..." orrrrhhh "Just leave....!" Now, I am not alone in any way. Pffttt! :)

Many thanks for your review - :-)
Such a straw can be 'paltry' in comparison to previous 'incidents' but hugely significant to their lives.
Good job Phill.

Thanks - your review is much appreciated ... :-)
As the father of girls I wouldn't have the patience for all that. I'm not that civilized. Nice Haiku.
