A Poem by Phill Oz O'fee
"

Need one more piece to finish the picture ...........

"

Jigsaw

On reflection

My life was formed from many parts

Anomalous shapes

Big or small in different natures

Picture learning

At the beginning of my existence

Experimental times

During awkward adolescence days

Always growing

Searching knowledge inside and out

Yearning compassion

In fellowship or loving partner

Forty trillion

Average cells in the human body

Making up

This jigsaw of casing and lowly soul

Only lacks

Just one dynamic missing piece

For conclusion

To fill up a darken lonely space

Your love

To complete a picture within my heart

The ending of this poem has an optimistic ending and as I try desperately to relate, I know in my heart that I will never find the missing piece I need to live. Even though I have a wonderful boyfriend and a good job, I am merely existing. I yearn for what it is like to live and this poem gives me -some- hope that maybe one day I will find it. Something to make my life complete. This poem is very touching.

I like the overall rhythm of the poem...sounds strong and very musical! My favourite lines will be-
" Experimental times
During awkward adolescence days
Always growing
Searching knowledge inside and out"

I like the optimistic end to this journey of self discovery...

Poignant poem with great language, form, flow, cadence and imagery. Lovely metaphor-“jigsaw of casing and lowly soul”. We all search for that missing piece “to complete a picture within”. Some never find it. I hope you find yours my friend. Kudos!

My puzzle is complete
some pieces have faded a bit
lack of
circulation ..diminished
the true color of life
Although I am puzzled
more and more each day
still
the puzzle is a complete..

Interesting introspection and sharing....
