Musical Whispers

An endearing yielding melody

Beats within my wanting heart

Tuned deftly by skilled aficionado’s

Wondrously soft musical whispers

A sweet manuscript uniquely serene

As a mountain’s fresh flowing stream

Solo formed masterpiece of adulation

Refrain composing spoken words of love

Adagio in tempo to savour every note

Holding mutual action pitch in unison

Our nocturne builds to fermata bliss

And solidly plucks magnificently the cords

Rhythmically on rose petal linen sheets

Tremolo repeats in burning energico

Until crescendo reaches highest peek

Thus completely duet’s destined harmony

Our coda brings conclusion to the song

A final passage carefully choreographed

Where remains our echoing afterthoughts

Reciprocated recital revelling nothing else

So so very beautiful, with magic through Your words into the air, I love music, I believe in it, I believe in its power, not just one type of power, music for me is timeless... Your words I understand and feel, the way these whispers affect us deeply, touch us, caress us... in places, urging our unspoken words to float, emotions... some of Your lines really hit me because they spoke better than I could, the ending was amazing, great piece, thank You for sharing, and Happy Musical Sunday :)

Excellent tapestry of musical terminology & the vivid details of loving longing. Your word play is very apparent, both playful & serious at the same time. Your word choices are melodic in sound with many "m" sounds that make it feel like moans of longing. I wonder if you meant to use the word "chords" (last line of 3rd stanza)?

A melody fulfilled, from a gentle air through to faster beats and final crescendo... then afterglow of love.
Some beautifully written lines and painted images here Phill, all tenderly and sensuously perfected...

one for my library..:)

You are welcome !! ............................:).........
musically physical...the notes to match the soft touches to skin and heart...

reminds me of a scene in Eddie and the Cruisers 2---the sax player on the side of the mountain belting out a mournful, haunting tune---
reaching for the song...for each other.
