Immortality?

Immortality?

A Poem by Phill Oz O'fee
"

Just penning out loud ............

"

Immortality?

(no thanks)

Witnessing hatred

Feeling inhumanities

No thank you, stuff it

Your voice is indeed very very loud, with the perfect photo to accomplish Your angry arousing message, no immortality in hate, in violences, in wars, in un-peace, in the dying of the humanistic emotions... nor the road of it is immoral...

Powerful, I hope those who have "blocked" ears will at least be bothered by the strong voice of You.

brevity told of a lengthy story otherwise of inhumanities n suffering here. Highlighted is your anger n pain perhaps to the hatred of this world, its rejecting ways. Why then immortality, you say? Feelings experienced by one n all n yet your ending shows a brave decision to let go of immortality in this context. Hoping for peace, praying, looking, calling for peace n happiness of the soul, I hear your deep cry. Good idea n concept. Lovely.

The atrocities these days seem to be based on the idea of immortality as a reward. As long as this is perpetuated, is it Paradise or parody?

Certainly, a valid perspective.
Another point of view is that immortality would put you above such typical pettiness; making you a kind of "untouchable." After all, what do the sins and rantings of mere temporal beings have to do with exalted workings of the eternal?
A meaningful bit of work, Phill!

"Immortality'- More curse than blessing these dark days your voice and frightening image scream out. Perfect form and sadly perfect theme. Is anybody out there to hear and understand??.. Let's hope so! .Great!

A brief but memorable post.
