Sultry Summer DaysA Poem by Phill Oz O'feeJust being creative ..........Sultry Summer Days Sultry summer days of memorable retreat Fill my mind with bygone closeness images When first we privately meandered delicate Amongst riotous multi-coloured wild flowers
Concealed from view we laid our heads Gazing upwards at a thousand clouding shapes Imaginings overspilled creative musing thoughts Until we nervously turned to face each other
Looking seekingly into each others eyes Where shone reflections of mutual adoration We were attracted closer to shared absorption And followed thus our embrace of passionate
I detected a sudden soft intake of breath As trembling lips caressed exposed skin Your gasping whispers commanding attention Of this enlistee soul's conforming surrender
A time period of life captured in fond memory Contemplated during my solitary moments When I smilingly reflect the golden remembrance
