Very thought-provoking . . . this is written in more of a "cerebral" way using words that conjure up thoughts more than images. Haiku style poetry is usually done in a more image-laden style, appealing to all the senses, & suggesting the idea you want to convey.

Example:
"Magnifying life's best sides"
could be:
"swirling dervishes surround"
(taken from your artwork)

I think your poem is fine & I like a poet that has a strong point of view. My ideas are just to keep in mind for future writings (((HUGS)))

Canon as in like... A rule or set of books...? I think I understand this one... If I do... This is actually really deep... Dayum... Well penned...
