Shimmering scented sensual dreams

Fragrantly arouse my clandestine thoughts

As I evoke secret affectionate recollections

Of tender allegorical warm embraces

And your opulent loving midnight whispers

Veins of golden stanzas dripped inspirational

From luscious intellectual passionate lips

Invoking powerful stimulating imagery

Beyond this humble soul’s expectations

Transporting consciousness to extraordinary limits

I failed to notice those early hours of contact

Had somehow been lost to historical interfusions

Where circumstantial uncontrollable transformations

Side-tracked a shared bravura ambiance of minds

And kindred spirits drifting in opposite directions

To recognize reality beyond my lack of perceptions

Brings emotional repentance of not grasping portals

Presented at opportune points in time and space

Yet a tread of personal escaping perception lingers

A subconscious quantum backward bound

And reminiscence over my special girl in a green dress

Time travel yes if only, I am watching a show about time travel, it's called "Time after Time" it's about H.G. Wells owning a time machine, it's pretty interesting. On the poem, I really thought this one dripped with elegance, it was very nicely penned. I enjoyed the closing words "reminiscence over my special girl in a green dress" it really provoked some strong images.

opportunity knocked...i opened a different door...
