CozumelA Poem by Phillip WolkeA beautiful paradise that has its fair share of tourism. This poem is a dedication of my initial reaction to arriving.I saw the clouds move so quickly by the stars followed in suit, The turning of the earth, Separated from the worries and woes of the world. Everything was at peace, The palm trees swayed in the breeze. Cruise lines entered and exited, Tourists ready to be sold to. An over expensive restaurant or two to sit more than two, And you in the background, The ocean. © 2023 Phillip Wolke |
