Thoughts on Moments

Thoughts on Moments

A Poem by Phillip Wolke
"

Sometimes you think, those thoughts lead to different places and then you reflect on how you got to where you are after remembering where you came from.

"

Are moments like views?

Points of opinion overused.

You've seen it once,

It's yesterday's news.

Don't mind the blues,

It's the latest of colors used,

The fashion pushing the limits to abuse,

When a moment ensues,

Go with the movements.

Where the river flows can only lead to improvements.

Practice makes perfect and perfect doesn't exist,

So don't waste your movements on something for which you don't wish.

Meditate on the thoughts,

Let their taste acquire a lemon twist.

The little sour will keep the interest,

The sweet that follows will only add to the rest.

The final picture that in the end will take place,

Is you in thought,

Possibly feeling displaced,

Displayed like a movie that captured the space,

In controversial conversation that comes in the wake.

I really love this poem but I think you need a "a" after Displayed like..
But yes, this one takes me in so many directions, I love the flow!

I'm glad you liked it!
Indeed, meditate on the thoughts. For as you believe, so it will be with you.
