Thoughts on MomentsA Poem by Phillip WolkeSometimes you think, those thoughts lead to different places and then you reflect on how you got to where you are after remembering where you came from. Are moments like views? Points of opinion overused. You've seen it once, It's yesterday's news. Don't mind the blues, It's the latest of colors used, The fashion pushing the limits to abuse, When a moment ensues, Go with the movements. Where the river flows can only lead to improvements. Practice makes perfect and perfect doesn't exist, So don't waste your movements on something for which you don't wish. Meditate on the thoughts, Let their taste acquire a lemon twist. The little sour will keep the interest, The sweet that follows will only add to the rest. The final picture that in the end will take place, Is you in thought, Possibly feeling displaced, Displayed like a movie that captured the space, In controversial conversation that comes in the wake. © 2023 Phillip Wolke |
