I asked around and no one could tell me anything about the author, Desmond Keys.  A true newcomer to fiction writing, he has taken the scene by storm, literally!  In eight short pages, Mr. keys' story "The Quest" takes us from the cycle of forest life to natural disasters to plane crashes and even a deserted island.

Assuming this is a teaser to a much larger series of stories, Desmond has created a world that can go anywhere he chooses to take it.  Thieves!  Cops!  Detectives!  PIRATES!!  Keep your eyes peeled for more deliciousness from this talented young mind! 

There's even a little room for a prequel.  What might have happened to the original family, who had three kids?  I for one can't wait to read further editions.  I think it is safe for me to declare Desmond Keys one of my favorite new authors.  Best work I've read this year!
