Broken Bones

Broken Bones

A Poem by Phillip Marshall

My eyes widely open.
I silently scream.
My arms become numb,
This is no dream.
I'm screaming out "please take my hand".
Im holding onto vices and I don't think I can.
I close my eyes,
And see your face.
I just want to hold you.
But you pushed me away.
I loved you,
But now my hearts gray.

My arms nearly covered, I drop my blade.
"Look at what you've done".
"This is what you made".
I take my last breath, I know longer can yell.
I'm slipping through the cracks, not to heaven,
But to hell.
