We all carry that phoenix inside.....many of us, completely oblivious of it....I like how you leave the ending open-ended.....an ember could die, but it could also be the beginning of a fire...

I love how it is short and sweet. I often find myself dosing off in long poems, so this especially caught my attention. I loved the ending, I could really imagine the words.

hehe hey thank you very much.yeah i love longer poems , like for instance my other piece Rootless. But this one just felt perfect as it was. so decided to just leave it as is.thank you very much for taking the time to ream my very short poem lol
