The woman of my heart

The woman of my heart

A Poem by Philane
"

This is just something I wrote to better understand my own feelings, I hope you enjoy.

"

The woman of my heart

She smiles, she laughs

She walks silently under the tree,

She runs and shoots,

So wild and free,

My soul’s queen, my mind’s monarchs,

Don’t destroy me, get me down with poisonous darts,

Love, of love is such a weird art.

I love you, your eyes hiding the depths of the sea,

You’re the dangerous, forbidden, most beloved me,

Your hair’s the roots of love and life’s own tree,

You’re miraculous,

Can’t you see?

Your smile is magic, your laugh is delirious,

Your mind is fantastic, and the way you dance,

Gets me into life and out of the trance.

You’re power, you’re such beauty, such grace,

And your denial punches me in the face.

Your body whole is not from earth,

And if I’d touch you I’d see,

The wings you hide beneath your hands.

In yourself I see such strength,

Ah, but can’t you see,

We were meant to be?

Fly away

Leave me alone,

Watery eyes I won’t call home,

Ah, but your lips are so fiery

So desirable, so miraculous.

I want to kiss you as you go,

Kiss and show that it can be,

We can be, just you and me,

You might be a dragon fairy,

But you don’t know and I’ll show you,

What it’s like.

When it’s just girl on girl love.

Cause’ then the girl I’ll kiss and hug,

Is the woman, the woman of my heart.
