Everyone Else is RobotsA Poem by Phil RolandI'm onto you. ALL of you.
I wonder if everyone else in the world
is in truth a robot created to keep me from going through life alone. And when the pretty lady with the sun-bleached hair and easy smile riding past me on her bicycle turns the corner and returns to the factory who recharges her batteries? I wonder why Narcissus did not see his beauty diminish as he starved. © 2010 Phil Roland |
