Star Flight

Star Flight

A Poem by Phibby Venable

Star Flight

The smooth black space of the sky
sparkling stars in miniature & design
Did you see my star fall in Nepal -
a burst of light in blue celebration
My eyes have written you a watchful letter
I am listening to ebony & starlight
There is nothing to worry about
but you fret the words and wonder
if I know the seriousness of things
I do. I am a person who swallows the moon
My heart beats in uppercase prompts
and rises in the majesty of storms
I hold my breath in listening
to the magnitude of insignificance
and I dance -
It seems the thing to do
My eyes so enamored with stars
My spirit breaking omnipotent with flight
through the naked trees
that try in vain
to border my life

all creatures take flight (except those who stop to explain)...when you let fly like this, my heart beats in resonance...simply beautiful, my dear

woo the majick properties of insignificance
That free a soul to fly like this.

wow I like how this piece comes together, Ive always been intrigue by the stars in space, I know there is much more out there than we understand, I can relate to this write because I know were not alone and what part of this equation do I play.
Nice work.
