A Poem by Ashes
"

Aren't these images we paint just so contrived.

"

Breathes so shallow
it's almost a lie to say you can steal them
though with a kiss
and a handful of words
you're proven true

See how soon you can fade
behind her closed eyes
and with her bleeding wrists

Isn't it precious
the image of a bleeding angel
all your own to sell to the highest bidder?
Can this be love?
Whispered in heavenly pews

The slip of satin and blankets
reveals a little more to the imagination
as well as the break-up.
This is where you see her smile
for the first time
when the door closes.

Author's Note

Ashes
Eh I'm all over with this poem...than again it did hit me up side the head from right out of left field. Whatever though it bit me and I'm letting it out in the public to see how many peoples eyes bleed. XD
