Rave girlA Poem by AshesHer skirt flared as she danced to the strobe lights and the DJ's mixes
Her body swung to the beat on the overcrowded dance floor moving faster than the electronic music in purplegreenblue strobe lights Her skirt flares and there’s confetti in the air to paint the glittered skin of the swaying, hypnotic, bodies catching eyes for only a moment the DJ started a new mix and she was carried away Applause the beats get harder a hint of red slips through the shadows and the crowd disappears in to the night before morning routine breaks the atmosphere she dances home to the beat in her head © 2008 AshesAuthor's Note
