Your love

Your love

A Poem by Ashes
"

What could have been, never seemed so far as now

"

This is what
lies between you
and I
the table
the chair
our torn, bleeding, heart

It's so shockingly
obvious
what we could have been
what we aren't
as we lie here
barely waking
and our love is quaking

There's the sweet scent
of a kiss
that taste like your tears
this is goodbye

My love
your dear
