Strings for goodbye

Strings for goodbye

A Poem by Ashes
"

It was just a little too late to say what was needed

"

I wrote a note
but the lines kept blurring
and my hand kept shaking

I'm sorry
I never sent it out
the mail came to late
our hands never touched
as the letter was exchanged

We had one more second to waste
and we spent it staring at the sky
before our last goodbye

Ashes
Little song type thing I came up with when I couldn't get any sleep.

It's probably part of the reason that you couldn't sleep! It was kickin around in your head, keeping it occupied! Nicely done, by the way, I like it. Filled with a sense of longing. The good-bye seeming to linger!

Really cool. You could really put a little guitar riff to that and have yourself a nice tune.

Funny the wonderful things that come out of insomnia. I like this!
