Snow leopard

Snow leopard

A Poem by Ashes
"

Through the eyes of a snow leopard

"

Stalking
gently
leaving traces,
claw marks in the snow

Golden eyes scan
white fur ruffles
(are the black spots your eyes
or her fur?)
and the scent of the air is melodic and asinine

1...3 powerful strides
and the world's a singularity
a game.
The snow melts
(dripdrip)
than there's a pounce
and snow
powder

Author's Note

Ashes
I've been tired, wanting to curl up under my blankets, and cranky due to unseasonal weather as of late, so I needed to write something to make me happy. Writing through the eyes of a snow leopard makes me happy, so here ya go, snow leopard poetry.
