Gender box

Gender box

A Poem by Ashes
"

Genders a box with toys, take what you need and leave the rest.

"

F****t

queer

and queen

That’s what you say when you discriminate

and perpetuate your hate

because you keep forgetting

gender is only a box

and we’re all outside it

pulling out what is needed

A real man,

no need for a penis

A real woman,

can have one

it’s all about the heart

and what you cart around

baby

Pull out a boa

some kicks

(watch out for the cobra)

from the box

and you don’t have to wear either

just listen to the soul

Listen to the heart

it’s all that matters

I like this! Comparing gender to a box is something I would have never thought of. Great job!
