Another lesson

Another lesson

A Poem by Ashes
"

We were just another lesson in life for each other

"

His lips brush hers
and all he can say is
he's just another lesson
but maybe she is too
it's best not to dwell

He left it on the counter,
like always
just one too many momentous,
it's made of glass
and orange and blue
as well as his favorite
yellow.
Just let it disappear

Life's just a few lessons
plus a few more
is all he can say
and she says
it's just a last kiss.

Ashes
I downloaded (legally) the new Sick puppies CD, and this is what came out of listening to it on repeat for three hours.
