A Memory

A Quick Poem I Wrote

In the silence of the moonlight I sit in despair
Quickly remembering that life isn't fair
This eternal love has taken far to much
From every kiss, every hug, to every single touch
And if all light should turn to dark
Forcing my heart to disembark
On a path that leads to endless sorrow
Then I shall never live another tomorrow
