Duct Tape Dreams

Duct Tape Dreams

A Poem by Pharos
"

worn out heart on my sleeve...

"
And I hope that you'd notice, make it times three...
That it could be more, than a fantasy...
You'd dance to the limelight, and I'd sing a song through the screen...

We'd send a message that make us grin...
Having late night calls, with our world in this little screen...
Fireflies would light up the sky, and butterflies flutter to the idea of you and me...

And I say all the words, wishing you'd sing along...
And I'd look to your way, wishing it could be...
And I'd take the steps, hoping you would notice me...

And we try, oh we try...
But our differences separate us it seems...
I'd say your crazy, and you'd call me I'm hazy...

Worn out heart on my sleeve.
Cracks opened, duct tape dreams...
