Questions That Reside

Questions That Reside

A Poem by Pharos
"

it's killing us, it's killing you...

"

Here you are again, back in the empty
spaces of your own thoughts. Have you
grown fond of forgetting and making up
excuses to escape.

Is it really worth wasting all this precious
things, while you drown yourself in this
fabrication of a dream.

You've descended so low, despite all the
grand dreams you had in stored. All you had
to do was to endure, but you gave in and
became a shadow of your former self.

This feelings, is it of hate or grief, the very
abomination you gave birth to. It's killing us,
it's killing you, do you take leisure in suffering
and torment.

It's cold in here, the taste of bitterness and
rot suffocates us.

We love you, but why are you hurting us, why
are you hurting yourself.
