Late Night Blues

Late Night Blues

A Poem by Pharos
"

skipped a prayer, late last night...

"

Late night, screen bright
dead silence of the empty sides.
Eyes closed, tears fall
with haft unfinished written poems.

Skipped a prayer late this night,
feeling guilty and lost in sight.
Scattered papers, messed up past
dreaming nightmares, it's so sad.

Radiation sticks into my eyes,
though I stayed and did not mind.
Went to check on any finds,
then sleep again and die inside.

Locked inside my empty room,
haft awake and just to tired.
Legs to weary, sense gone blind
conscious fading, no more sight.

Sleeping soundly in a wooden
cold desk, with both two arms
to support my head. As the cycle
repeats all over again.

Only to dream,
hopelessly wandering.
of those days yet again.
