Attention

Attention

A Poem by Pharmacy
"

This is a collaboration poem done by me and a fellow poet, Kevon.

"

Can I have your attention

I’m The

The Oxymoron contradicting his unknown definition
Reading the magazine tryna cancel love’s subscription
Always subtracting it’s positive, never the addition
Never won her heart, but was a honorable mention
If her heart owned ears, they never listened

And never learn the lesson, never listen in school
Heartbreak hotel, the home for fools
I’m of residence
I’ve committed the crime, You can see the evidence
To me love’s the definition of Pestilence

And my heart’s ears are deafening, I won’t listen
That thick line between love and hate has thickened
I still can breathe my heart beat’s quickened
I only wish things were different
But there are no stars around

Can I have your attention

I’m The

The Inconsistency denying her unknown definition

Reviewing the chapter of love that went missing

Living to love like the opening gates of Hell

Never was his heart, always the problem

If his heart owned a mouth, I never understood the language

I never understood his meaning of love

Back hand, blood covered me like a freshly bought pack of gloves

I am the shivering hand

My crime is loving unknown love, I am the evidence

To me love is the definition of pain

And I am now confused, I cover his mouth

That thick line between love and hate has become thin

I can’t breathe I know that’s my cue

The gun in one hand and a rose in the other

As he whispers I love you

This is sweet. :]
I almost thought you copy & pasted Panic! At the Disco lyrics, because that's how their songs are like.
It's really good.
Nice job.

It could almost be turned to a song (which, to be honest, was how I read some of it) if the whole rhyme scheme stayed the same, but that's ok. It just through me a loop when it stopped. I think this was very good. It seems to me that you're shouting a message that you want everyone to hear. Once again, I compliment you on a job well done.
