Bird Cage

Bird Cage

A Poem by Ellusive Rose
"

the title states all

"
Living my days in a cage
Waiting for the sun to rise
But daylight never came
The black iron rust faded my sight

A bird who always sang
Now cracks at the highest note
Feathers dully rusted coal
Tears fading under the fires crackle

THE BIRD IS NOW DEAD
But like a falling tree......
Was never heard...
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Only replaced by another

Such is the life of a caged bird
Such is the life of me.....
