Now I was in her clutches and how was I going to get out now? The answer--can't I'm trapped like a pig and now it was all up to her whether to turn me into bacon, ribs, or pork chop.

Prologue

I could already tell this was going to be trouble. It wasn't normal today like it always was.  Laula was in that "makeover" mood again and of course I was the unsuspecting victim that happened to be passing her room at the wrong time. Why me?

Anyway, she called me in "innocently", sticking her finely shaped head through the double doors to her room. Following up with her frail hands luring me in with a lollipop....

She knows I like lollipops......

"So...let's see here. There's a girl.....with a lollipop who wants me to come over to her. There's nothing wrong with this right?"

Giggles started to fill void in the vast hallways. Yep, I knew something was up. She's giggling now, thats allready a bad sign....heh

"Follow the lollipop Noel. You know you want it and all its deliciousness." she whispered playfully,

"Hmm what flavor?"

"Blueberry!"

"Well then see ya! Good luck with your living and lollipop licking.heh"
Just as soon as the words left my lips, the skinny figured worman popped out of the doors, standing before me in her "fashionable" pajamas and hands on her hips, a flicked experession plastered on her face.

But who was I to care? I don't like blueberry and well...I already knew this story.

"What?" Making myself sound more uncaring and non-chalant than I actually was, let's tease her a little.

"Do you always have to be a smart aleck?"

"Huh, I don't know do you always have to try to bribe me to do something?"

"Ah touche"

She always did that no matter what I said. It didn't even have to be true and she would say "Ah touche" like always. Once she told me that my clothes were wrinkly and I said she had green skin, which clearly she didn't and here she went with "A touche ".

But I guess that's why I love her.

"What are you up to Laula?"

"Nothin, I just wanna hang out that's all. I've been in this room for three days and I'M BORED."

"I don't see how that's my----"

"It is because you have to ENTERTAIN ME!"

I shruged. When she got like this, there was no talking to her. It was like talking to a brick wall that has a mouth but doesn't use it for expressive purposese. If that even makes sense. heh

"Whatever you say Laula. You ARE the princess heh." I smirked. She replied with a "you and your damn sarcasm" look. LOVE IT.

"That's right! Now come in Noel! I wanna play makeover with you!" She hopped back into the room looking less princess-like than she ever had. Like the best-friend-servant I was, I followed behind here reluctanlty.

Slam! Click!

Now I was in her clutches and how was I going to get out now? The answer--can't I'm trapped like a pig and now it was all up to her whether to turn me into bacon, ribs, or porkchop. Now that I think about it, you can use pigs for a whole lot of things. Funny huh?

She laughed false-meniacally, twiching her hands like a pervert on the loose.

"Uh...Laula?"

"I'm going to make you so PRETTY." she giggled creepily, saunting over me yet menacingly on the prowl at the same time.

"Um...Laula don't you think you're too old for this?"

That got her attention. Laula was more worried about her age more than a middle age man whose going through a mid life crisis.

"Um...would you like to clarify?"

"Well I don't know. I'm just sayin we're 18 now and bear with me on this, we're not little girls anymore."

Let me ask, is it a good thing when you state the truth and your friend's eye starts twitching? Or is that a sign that maybe you should  call the gaurds down the hallways?

Whatever the answer was, didn't need it because just as soon, Christopher another servant came into the room. Laula and I turned swiftly, why was he here in the first place?

Laula was the first one to speak as Christopher quickly closed the double doors and I pulled the shades closed.

"Christopher!? What are you doing here?"

Christopher rushed over to her and lightly but ergently kissed her lips. Even I, blushed. I've never seen anyone kiss like that or kiss in general.

"Laula! I needed to see you! A letter came in to your father and I was able to get a copy from my Listnel." He quickly glanced to the side and finally saw me standing there, wide eyed and befuddled as always.

Well no reason to be rude, still uncomfortable, but not rude. I usually left when Christopher cam in here but I wasn't informed nor expecting him to come in. So yeah....just smile and nod. Let's add a simple wave and we're good.

"Hi Chriso-"

"Oh Noel! It's you! Please come and read this with us!"

"Uh...Yeah sure but you might wanna stop yelling. You know you or any other boy can't be in here right?"

He smiled, hugging Laula around the waist tightly, lightly kissing her then moving his hands to have their fingers tangle in her auburn hair. Laula did the same, kissing him with more passion than he, her hands finding their way to tangle themselves within his jet black hair.

"Uh hello?"

I was still standing there ignored and forgotten, oh did I mention IGNORED. Jeez you fall in love with someone and then their friends fade into the distance. Sigh...I hope I never fall in love.

"Hey, you, HEY YOU!"

Laula finally broke away from their "kissing" moment to make a sly remake before she went back.

"Ssh or they'll find us Noel!"

Did she just? I know she didn't just tell me to be quiet after CHRISTOPHER and HERSELF were yelling like two ding bats in the desert. Tsk forbidden lovers and such.....

You know not to break the fourth wall and everything, this is a really long prologue. It could actually be the first chapter. Huh...Interesting. Anyway, after about good five minutes of me gagging and those two eating each others face off practically, they finally grew a brain and remembered I was there again.

"Oh Noel, we forgot that you were still here."

"Oh did you? Did you really? Anyway that's not important. What about the letter you came screaming in about?"

Suddenly like the rest of the world didn't seem to matter, Christopher and Laula looked up bewildered, like I had two heads or something.

"Huh? What letter?"

Okay now I know they have tiny brains and now I really know I don't wanna fall in love. What letter they say......

"Christopher I know you can be an airhead and Laula I know you have a brain in there somewhere, so please forget your "lovers" moment for a minute and read the letter that is SOOOO important please..."

"Hey you feeling okay?"

"No, I've been here watching you two suck face after hearing that there was an important letter, so yea I'm a little on the cranky side you can say...."

"You know Noel, in some places that's called being a B***h...."

"Well you guys are mushy gushy jerks so we're even."

"A touche"

"Sigh........"

"She's right though Christopher we should read the letter. We need to know what it says."

Finally.....

Just as quickly as she suggested it, he quickly unhinged himself long enough to pull an ivory colored paper, crinkled from rushing to get here, from his back pocket. We gathered around squinting at the small written letters on the paper.

It reads:

Dear King Wiesel Of Poritor,

I have recieved word that your daughter Princess Laula Lipator has recently turned the fine age of 18. Do you think now would be a good time to unite the kingdom of Poritor and Klisenir by marrying my son Prince Alexander Masabarrow of Klisenir and your daughter? We agreed on this many years ago and I am overjoyed to find that now it is coming true! I await your respond.
Sincerely,
King Castor of Klisenir

Laula froze probably from the shock from the letter, I however only stared at Christopher. How on earth do you have the audacity to make out with the princess and forget about the letter that has to do exactly with you and her? Seriously...
Laula was on the brink of tears, sighing heavily while constantly wiping away the dew that formed in her eyes. Christopher went to her, patting her back and rubbing her shoulders comfortingly.

I coulnd't help but stare. They both could do with more brains in their heads but they really love each other. Still I wonder if it would work out. I mean I read the fairytales and stuff about a princess marrying a servant and living out their lives, but I mean this is reality. But I guess if you love someone there's nothing you can do about it.

"Hey listen...."

A sudden turn of heads.....

"I have an idea how to solve this......."

This is where my story began.

I chuckled when you "broke the fourth wall" ahaha I like the humor in this, it's different. The story seems rather fast paced as well, a subtle breath of fresh air to those extensive "prologues" I've read in the past. I think I have an idea of where this may lead, however you are the writer so you may surprise me. I await the next chapter!
