Snowy TundraA Poem by Ellusive RoseIt describes itself.Snowy TundraAching pains from my head to my knees
Not knowing whether it will go away and come again as it please
Heart shattering like a porcelain vase dropping on hard marble floors
Just like the scar it leaves engraved on its white beauty
Is what the pain of the world does on my slowly beating heart
Tears falling like massive rain drops that slowly turn into the hail of the damned
Snowy tundra freezing over my last glimmer of hope for this world
Hope that was once a sunlight morning, rainbows showing from the rain of yesterday’s turmoil
Will spring ever come again to the white blanket plateaus of the night
Or will darkness live on for ever in eternal winter?
What was five became four, then three, then two
One remains as Thor’s mighty hammer beats down on my exposed darkened back
Satan laughing from the scene of my aching misery
Just once will the winter come to the fires of the burning hell?
My dark past shrouded in more mystery than any murder
I may still live but I have died on the inside
Black my white and white my black never mixed to gray
A mirror showing my beastly reflection from my heart
Black shadows creep upon my eyes blinding my only true sense
Seeing is believing and hearing is just a benefit
Only these eyes can see the truth to this world with out any verbal lies
One last look on the weather forecast for tomorrow
Tomorrow….more like my future….
Snow will continue to fall and spring will never come again.
