Chapter 4- A Rude Awakening

The sun shined through the curtains on my window, letting me know that it was morning. I sat up, stretched and yawned. Then I pushed the covers off and got up out of bed. Man I am sleepy...I walked over to the bathroom and washed myself up in the shower. Water droplets falling down on me, makes things very soothing. There was a knock at the door.

 

"Who is it?" I called out. There could only be two possibilities, so I don't know why I'm so jumpy, but I don't know....I'm getting a weird feeling. There was no answer. Maybe they went away. A knock was at the door again. Okay now this isn't funny...."Who is it?"

 

"Denae stupid!" called out Denae from the other side of the door. "You're taking to long in there moron!" Thank God that, that door is in the way. I grunted at went back to my shower.

 

"Go Away!" I yelled back. There was silence. Maybe she really did leave like I said...Then all of a sudden, I can see a red light coming from underneath the door. Uh oh.....I'm in trouble. In a quick flah, slice marks were made on the door and the door shattered into pieces, revealing me in my birthday suit, but that didn't seem to faze Denae. She marched towards me, her fingers were blades, sharp enough to cut through the toughest metal and her face red with anger, redder then blood that was going to be seen if something happens. Her eyes were that of a demons, purplish and piercing. I probably was going to die, right this moment. She placed herself in front of me and extended her fingers toward me.

 

"How dare you tell me to go away!" she yelled. I finched. Okay right now,I scared of her. I don't wanna die just yet. I have so much to live for....she lifted my head with the blade on her hand. It cut me a little causing blood to srop and splatter onto the floor. I stared at her afraid for my life. This is it...She's gonna kill me....."Prepare to die boy!" Footsteps were coming up the stairs quickly. Denae and I turn to the door to see a panting Daria in the doorway. Denae clenched her teeth and growled. I looked at Daria with a Please save me! She's gonna kill me' look. Daria quckly understood. Denae hissed. "Don't get involved or you'll pay!" Daria disregarded it and chanted something quiety, keeping her hands in front of her. The seal....it's gone! She can use magic!

 

"Heaven's power flow through my fingers and let it be your servent. Let it vanquish this evil and restore the world to order." Daria chanted. That's a very powelful seal! Only professional magic users can cast it. How can she do that? Is she that strong? Daria continue, "By the heaven's name, I cast this spell."Blue light swirled around her and found itself on Daria's hands then it shot out at Denae and swirled around her, binding her almost. Denae started to slice at the light. She was become frantic. She then turned around to Daria and growled and leaped at her. My eyes got wide. She going to kill her!

 

"Daria!" I yelled, but Daria did not move. She held her stance with her hands placed out in front of her. The swirling light turning into circles around her hands. Denae came even closer, charging at her. Denae started to swing at Daria, but a light exploded between them. I had to cover my eyes. It was too bright!

 

"Heaven's Seal!" Daria yelled and the light exploded causing Denae to fly back and hit the floor with a loud thud. I sat there frightened, but inched to see what happened. Daria panted with her hands still placed out in front of her. At this point the bathroom was destroyed. Denae laid on the floor, beaten and bruised. Denae chuckled darkly as the blades turned back into fingers. Daria walked over to her, sweat pouring from her forehead.

 

"I thought....I sealed away your hands....." she gasped blood flowing down her arm. I guess it was from the inpact of the seal. Daria bent down next to her. Me , I stayed back, too scared to move because of the circumstances.

 

"You did, but your seal was weak, so I had a friend of mine release it." Daria said. Denae chuckled even darker, then fell silent. Daria turned to me and walked over. I sat there bewildered. What just happened?! Daria squatted down next to me. She lifted my chin to see the cut. She sighed then smiled. "I'm gonna get you fixed up, so don't worry." She looked around at the bathroom. "And the bathroom too." She turned back to me and placed a hand on my face. "Don't move Duran." I did what she said, she's scary when she's fighting. A green light came from her hand and I could feel the cut disappearing. Then she stepped back and smiled. "There all better." I stuttered on my words.

 

"T-thanks sis...." I said she smiled even harder. She threw me some clothes from outside. I caught them. It was a beige shirt, a big red scarf and black pants. I looked at her confused. She chuckled.

 

"You better put these on....your friend might pop on by..." she said. I looked at her even more confused. She pointed at me. I looked down and covered myself and blush. I totally forgot that I was completely naked! I nodded. Daria smiled and stood in the middle of the bathroom and chanted something quietly. "Ragna de solaris" Multy color lights came from underneath her and went to each part of the bathroom. It was....It was fixing the bathroom! There are such spells like that? In a few moments, the bathroom was completely fixed. "There, that'll do it." She went over to the unconcious Denae and slung her over her shoulder, then started to leave the room. I stopped her.

 

"Where are you taking her?" I asked curiously. Daria turned back, then smiled.

 

"She's going to be out for a while and she's hurt." she said, then looked at Denae, "I'm gonna go heal her, but don't worry, she won't be able to use her powers for a while." With that she left, but popped back in one more time. "Duran you should fix your hair." Then she left for good. I looked in a mirror. She was right! My light green hair was sticking up! I closed the door and went back to dressing.

Lol, very good! I could see the whole fight and I was like yeah Daria, boo Denae!

However when you said this, "Denae stupid!" called out Denae from the other side of the door. "You're taking to long in there moron!" Thank God that, that door is in the way. I grunted at went back to my shower. You could've described her voice, or if she says it's Denae, you don't have to say "called out Denae from the other side of the door. It's unneccesary and add an extra "o" on to as in taking too long.

I love the suspense! That was so awesome. I felt so hopeless in the beginning hoping Duran was gonna be okay. Agian, yeah Daria, she rocks! I like her. Please continue.
