Dance With Me

Dance With Me

A Poem by Ellusive Rose
"

A girl wants to dance

"

Dance With Me

Sitting in the corner

Looking

Pretty lace dresses

Flowing

Ladies being held

By the boys the love

Moving freely

Like a pair of doves

Oh how I want to be one

And dance to this song

But no one would ask

A single dove

So sitting in the corner

I still wait for the one

To sweep me off my feet

And dance to this song

Oh when will that day come

Wow! That was amazing... I really don't know how describe how well I can relate to this. I loved it, the emotion was clear and very easily understood, this poem makes people understand that feeling

Sweet poem.
The wistfulness of the girl was felt and all too well understood.
One day the little Wallflower will be picked...^-^
Great job.

Wow! What an awesome poem! It was kind of sad, not being asked to dance and wanting to dance so badly like everyone else, I could just feel the emotion coming off of the screen! This was a wonderful poem! Keep up the good work! :D
