Thoughts from beyond the door-Their Story

Thoughts from beyond the door-Their Story

A Poem by Ellusive Rose
"

You have to read My Story before this one.

"

Sitting

Pondering

Wondering if you're alright

You probably think

That I've abandoned you

The phone calls you left

I didn't answer

Because I was so confused about

What to do

That hole in the wall

I could have used

But I was too scared to do so

These feelings that I harbor inside

I try to hide

Not wanting to hurt you

I know you're waiting for me

To come through that door

But I don't know if I can do it anymore

Maybe someday

Courage

Will be my name

And then we will see each other again

Thoughts from beyond the door

Their Story

A brilliant response! This is so lovely, and clever. What a sweet and unique idea to show two sides of the same story! I think it also makes a brilliant point- sometimes we're too afraid to make the first step. What a nice piece of writing!

Awww...I'm gonna cry. This is such a perfect other side, I understand it perfectly, it fills the gap, it matches the other side to perfection. Matching pieces of a misunderstood puzzle...

Maybe you could change "I was confused" to "I was so confused", I think it would help it flow better. Just my opinion though. Oh, and "I've" in the third stanza should be "I" But...So beautiful.
I feel so sorry for this person...Even more than I do for the other...
Loved it.
