Love Cries

Love Cries

A Poem by Ellusive Rose

A broken heart girl tells her story

Love Cries

I always thought

That no matter what

Our love

Would see us through

Back in those days

When we listened with our hearts

And spoke with our eyes

Our love was true

I remember

The scent of your hair

The beat of your heart

And that crooked face you use to make

So what was it that tore us apart

The odd number of days we met

Or that pretty girl across the street

Many of times

Did a river run

From the thoughts of you

I try my best to hold on

But your face creeps up in my mind

And even though

I want you to myself

My hope is that

You're safe and well

I guess this is a moment

When love cries

I love this flow. It is very gentle but it seems in the background very very silents the is silent storm of sadness. I love the similies. A very, very, good piece of work. I love it. Please continue writing!
