This poem describes the sounds of the city.

Can you hear it?

The sound of the people

Walking

Yelling

Talking

Can you hear it?

The sound of the cars passing by the dozens

Saying hello to another

In their on special language

Can you hear it?

The crack-crackling of the crumbs

As the pigeons make a hit and run

Can you hear it?

Cuz I can hear it.

The sound of the city

Can you hear it?

Yes you can.
