Dear Allie

Dear Allie

A Poem by Philip Smith
"

Not meant to be a good poem. I was bored.

"
Dear Allie
By the time you read this
I'll be dead.

I decided to climb
On my own this time
And as my luck has it
A boulder hit me.

I'll bleed out soon
Or maybe starve
And I'm trapped here
With no help around.

But if this letter
Should make it your way
In these last moments
I want you to know

That I forgot
To let the dog out
And she might pee
Inside the house.
