Certain Seas and Barren FieldsA Poem by ElisaA poem about life from the pens of my favorite poets.Time comes in waves here, in a kingdom by the sea. My heart moves from cold to fire as if, one by one, the memories you used to harbor have their exits and their entrances, with the certainty of tides. Life is a barren field. Deep roots are not reached by the frost, if you can wait and not be tired by waiting. Some say the world will end in fire, and yet the menace of the years were toward eternity.
