RoseA Poem by ElisaA poem for The PhantomHush Angel, for just this hour and sink into my outstreched petals. Red, of course, My Farthest Star The color of each breath we take Rest, My Love. Let this night pass, may my soft tears fade your scars. Thorns of mortals mar your wings, but our music waits in cool night breezes. Sing, Brave One, and let me burn with the searing ring of every note. Your rumbling voice within my ear sends ice along my lower spine. Kiss, oh Shadow, kiss the strings of your songbird's midnight reverie whose heaven lives in your arms alone as we fly towards the coming dawn.
