Light and Darkness

A darkened world trying to figure out how to escape the darkened world and trying to find their own light out.

The morning arises as darkness falls
Darkness falls into its own sleep
Now light shines through this world
But many has lost sight of this light

What can one do to leave the darkened world?
Some have stayed so long
No longer can they run
How do you pull one out?
There is a question we all wonder

But in the end, how do we forgive?
Not others, but ourselves
Yet, we are not alone ever
In out hears and soul there is God

For he is the only one
Whom shall save and place peace
Yet also love in our hearts

A wonderful glimpse at our world and at our own lives and mindset. I loved that stanza. Its hard to keep focus on the horizon when we're in the dirt. Thank you for sharing this wonderful poem.
