A Composer of the NightA Poem by DevanThis came to mind walking home from college. It's about an hour walk so my mind wanders and I find ways to entertain myself as I walk. This is really fun to perceive yourself like this.
A passerby walking down the streets amongst rays of city car light,
from the winter chills that are blown strongly during the night. Alone walking the sidewalks as one by one cars go rushing by... A silent night, where as the only sound is broadcast as they pass. As the individual steps along to the sound, that is swift and quick, Gazing down the path ahead as thoughts converge in mind. A multitude of wondering as he diverges on ahead as time flies, All that remains that is yet to be seen, the vast unknown... What lies ahead is bound and tied deep in mystery as he walks, Tranquil as can be, he keeps transcending forward unconcerned... Perceptive walking with the shadows which illuminates the night, He walks, dancing the rhythm as if manipulating keys of a piano... Such harmony that people are oblivious about and not keen to see... Time will continue to pass on, as the passerby walks the elegant step~ © 2012 Devan |
