A Dream to be Real?A Poem by Pey in WonderlandEverything is silent. Not a word is spoken, not a sound is made. She's afraid of what will happen if she opens her eyes today.
A memory of the tears she had shed from the night before. A chill down her spine. She misses the dream where she was on a swing and everything was okay. Not a fear in sight or a worried thought, only a wish that it would never end. Happy and smiling, sun is shinning. She sways back and forth with her bare feet dangling. The fresh green grass to cause her no harm. And the tree, for which the swing is on, to give her shade. She is sure no harm can come her way.
Noise comes to her ears, she sighs and opens her eyes. Only to come to the relization that it all just a wonderful dream... © 2010 Pey in WonderlandAuthor's Note
