The obscurity of death.

The obscurity of death.

A Story by Victor Adegbite

Man may amass titles, honours and wealth yet he can not avoid being obliterated by death. Death though considered obnoxious is inevitable in ones life.
Nevertheless, there are stories of Africans who negotiated with death for longevity but their end is rather palpitated in anguish. Imagine one longing for death, rotting and decaying yet still alive and this may last for months.
I consider it vanity for a man who has the highest honour or degree confered in the society to finally end up in the abyss of oblivion.
Meanwhile, where many are avoiding death's ford, there are ones who are willingly enticed by death's aroma. The question is are you ready to die?, do you consider life worthwhile?, and lastly when you die where do you think you will be?.
Note this:
when you were born, you cried while the world laughed but live worthwhile so that when you die the world will cry.
