Typical Shallow Girly Love Poem

This is what shallow girls like to write.

I'm in love with you boy,

Even though we've been together for one day,

I can see that you are special,

And that's why I've given my virginity to you.

My feeling are so strong,

I need to express them through structureless poetry.

I bend the laws of grammar,

Because I'm so emotional.

I don't use rhyming,

Because I'm so emotional.

Versification makes no sense to me,

Because I'm so emotional.

My lines are really pointless,

Still I keep repeating them,

Because I'm so emotional.

I'm writing this poem because my feelings

Were too big to fit into a simple Facebook status.

And everyone will like this poem,

Because it's so emotional and sweet.

Boy, I will love you forever,

Or at least

Until I find someone else

To give my “virginity” to.

Author's Note

If you haven't figured out so far, this is a parody of all those poems that shallow girls write. And boys too, sometimes. I'd just like to apologize to all those people who write worthy love poetry, to avoid any misunderstandings.
And I'd like to point out that most of my WritersCafe friends DON'T write these poems, so don't feel offended guys. Some do, though.
Anyways, thanks for wasting your time on a piece of crap like this! xD

Hahaha omg i love this!! This is such a sterotypical poem of girl's who've thought that they fell in love in just one day. Also liked the repeating " Because im so emotional" and the Facebook status thingy was real funny. Good job :3

Hah! Me being one of those who people who writes poems about love just for the fun of it I thought this was different. Okay slighty harsh on some of the people who do mean real love poems but even though this was a plain rather silly poem i thought it was brilliant because you showed your own feelings about shallowness through out this poem, good write :)
