Perpetual Struggle

for various reasons

there has always been

a faulty connection

between

            my head

                          and

                                my heart

 

 

caught in the middle

 

                   more often than not

 

                                                                 my soul

would try to mediate

a possible way 

                          out of confusion

 

                                                          at the expense

                                                                                   of perpetual struggle
