Sonnet I

Sonnet I

A Poem by P.J. Lowry
"

First sonnet of 2011

"
All of my pictures are gone
removed from both sight and mind
It didn't seem to take very long
to remove ties meant to strongly bind.

Banished is my face and smiles
almost as if I was never there
the man who was around for the trails
there to help with love and care.

And just because I left does not mean
that I will never come back to visit
even though this is the end of our dream
Dad will always come back to exhibit

one's undying love for the kids, my boys
for they are my treasures, life's truest joys.
