To Be AloneA Poem by P.J. Lowry
To be alone is like being forced to cross a desert. You know there’s an end to this journey but when you think you’ve finally reached it there is a new dune to cross.
To be alone is like to starve in the middle of a poverned nation. To be in need of something that can only improve your life but there is none of this substance to spare.
To be alone is like windowing shop without money in your pocket. Admire it all you like, for it shall never be yours.
To be alone is to lose the one you love and never find another.
