Nursing a tender heartA Poem by P.J. LowryA needle goes into my arm, I feel a small pinch the pain is nothing as I am clearly drugged, when staring into her eyes, I’m unable to flinch wondering how she feels about a man this rugged. I am barely able to speak, I feel so lost her skin is so fair, as white as a dove I want to take her now no matter the cost imagining a world where we are in love. She is a gentle soul, one with a very unique glow and her hands feel so soft when touching mine. Each time I long to touch her, caress her brow we remain professional, I never cross that line. This lovely nurse barely notices when I’m around but she stole my heart without making a sound. © 2014 P.J. Lowry |
