What an interesting read. I don't know much about the Tarot other than what I've seen on TV. They were the same sort of taboo as Ouija boards and witchcraft where I grew up. The most famous reference I remember to them was in the movie Tombstone where one lady tells another with a Tarot deck, "I wish you'd learn to play a real card game". Astrology, the tarot...all that stuff seems threatening to the Christian mainstream but to me it's just mainly silliness thinking we can predict the future or change it or talk to the dead. I like the short staccato lines and the great way the alliteration mixes in with rhyme to form the piece. Well done and I enjoyed the read.

i like this serving of word salad, the short lines that rhyme come at the reader like machine-gun fire. like a tarot reading, it might seem like obscure images that appear in random. but a card-reader knows that there are patterns and meanings to it. i am not a card reader, so i am going to slowly back away from making any interpretations. yet i had fun reading this stylish piece, and forgive me if i missed any key messages you wanted to convey.

Yes the minor arcana can serve as guidance to the major. The meanings are not always good.
But to write about the minor would be a tiresome work, so I only focus in the major in this work.
Thank you so much for your visit and your review.
I hope you enjoyed this poem.
Truly I find not that the cards are scary but that life is.
Take good care Vol.

Tarot can be pretty accurate sometimes.
But it is not written in stone, events may change.
Since life is constant change and transformation.
I use both major and minor, the minor working a bit as a compass to better understand the major.
It is always a pleasure to meet a fellow Tarot reader.
Take good care Vol.
You very poetically impart to your reader the meaning of the Tarot cards in perfect rhyme. An excellent interaction with words between the various cards. I like the simplicity of this poem very much, because I find the Tarot to be a complicated process, difficult to understand too. Your poem tells the story of the world today as it is. The wheel of life is always turning, but in so many ways we seem to be regressing instead of progressing. Very thought provoking and insightful write! Thank you for sharing, dear A. R...
