The poet and the poetess.A Poem by The_Ancient_RockA sad love story. By Amy R. and The_Ancient_Rock.The poet was silent before, nevermore. Why did you had to leave? Baby girl, I had so much love left to give. I need you near. I want you here. To uncover you with gentleness. To discover you in kindness. Love is the poem. I am the poet, you are the poetess. You complete me. When I am blind, you make me see. Hold me in your love, guide me... Gentle flower, seduce me... Reduce me to the simplicity of love. Lift my heart up above. _______________ The poetess softly replied, "I had to leave, I had to be free." From your love so strong, it felt like chains guarding me, from the life I couldn't see, our love was strong, our hearts were too bright, but the world outside was not in our sight, we dreamt of a big life, of adventures and more, but our world didn't allow, it was not what we had explore. So I had to leave, to find my own way, to follow my heart, to chase my own day. What we had was beautiful... You are free to keep all our memories, but I am not for you anymore, I want you to be happy, that we once happened. That the universe got to experience a love once so beautiful. Hold the love I shared with you in your heart, and with that lift your head high, my dear. ______________ The poet: The_Ancient_Rock The poetess: Amy R. 03/05/2024
